TARGET FUTSAL ACADEMY

Target Futsal Academy is a new venture where we hope to emulate the values of Target with this exciting indoor game.

Futsal was established by F.I.F.A. in 1989 for International football at 5 a side, since when we have had European and World Championships every four years , over 170 countries  are registered with F.I.F.A.  to  play internationally .

The game at the highest level is very fast and requires breathtaking skills, but can be used as a development tool in young players to improve fitness and skill levels

We will teach the players the basic building blocks of this game whilst developing their belief in their own ability and the fundamentals of teamwork.

All children in France under the age of 14, boys and girls, have one hour of Futsal in their school curriculum every week

At Target we have access to Coaches who are not only qualified in Futsal, but play at the highest league level in this Country,  in the F.A. Northern Conference for Barca F.C. ( the FA also run the Southern and Midland Conferences)

New sessions will commence in the New Year at 9-10 a.m. for AGES 5-12.

Times and age ranges will be expanded in due course.

Please bring clean non-marking footwear to change into before you enter the gym.

 All children are required to register attendance and pay the relevant fee at the beginning of the session (currently £3). Please make sure your children have the appropriate clothing .
